The corner of Liberty and Vine is the “the heart” of Cincinnati’s Over-the-Rhine. We serve the hungry at our Soup Kitchen and offer Emergency Assistance to our neighbors. Day laborers, at job centers seeking a few hours of work at low wages, receive our bag lunches. On the plaza in front of the church, homeless persons find a place to shelter, despite winter’s cold or summer’s heat. At our parish’s Sunday Mass people gather weekly in our “Church home.” Our school welcomes students whose families are looking for a good education. An ever-growing stream of new and old volunteers, motivated to help their neighbors in need, come to all of our Ministries to help out. I welcome you to join our family of supporters with your personal gifts of time, talent and treasure. You are the instruments of peace, the means God uses to heal the wounds of poverty, raise up human spirits and change lives. May God reward you richly! Be assured of the prayers of our faith-community, our clients and guests, and the Franciscans!
